Welcome To Impangele

Impangele Guesthouse and Garden Cottage is situated in Swellendam, in the Overberg of the Western Cape of South Africa. Swellendam is South Africa's third oldest town and very centrally located on the N2 and just south of the Robertson Wine Valley. Located at the base of the Langeberg Mountain Range, Swellendam is home to the Bontebok National Park and the Marloth Nature Reserve. A quick drive takes you to the De Hoop Nature Reserve or Barrydale in the Little Karoo.

This property dates back to the 1800's and is nestled in an indigenous garden attracting many indigenous bird species. This guesthouse offers unpretentious accommodation in one of the original farmhouses of the area. The atmosphere is relaxed and our main goal is to make all of our guests feel welcome and at home. Impangele is a child-friendly guesthouse as we have toddler of our own. We love kids!

Garden Cottage

Perfect for families or travelers who prefer their own space. The rustic, two bedroom, one bathroom Garden Cottage offers all basic cutlery, crockery as well as bath towels and linen. There is coffee, tea and traditional homemade rusks available. It has a television with Netflix, free Wi-Fi and some good old fashioned board games. Value for money!

A total of six persons can sleep in the Garden Cottage. The two separate bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two twin beds sleeps in total four persons. The living area is equipped with a daybed and a sleeper couch and can accommodate two children or young adults.

The open plan kitchenette has a microwave, a cooker and a fridge freezer. Basic crockery and cutlery are supplied.

Breakfast can be booked and will be served when available on the Sunbird Deck.

The Aloe Room

Double or twin with en-suite bathroom

The Aloe room is a bright and sunny room with twin beds and en-suite bathroom. T with a small bath and overhead shower. There are coffee, tea and traditional homemade rusks in the room. It has a television with Netflix and free Wi-Fi. Treat yourself to a glass of complementary wine overlooking the mountains and the garden.

Breakfast can be booked and will be served when available on the Sunbird Deck.

Facilities: Shower Over Bath, Twin beds, Fan, Heater, Tea and Coffee Facilities, Wi-Fi, Netflix and Hair Dryer.
